The sixteen camera digital storage and multiplexer stores images on two removable hard drives, which are easily interchanged to increase storage capacity. Unlike traditional analogue recording, the DMR16 is designed to remove the need for tape storage, eliminating both streaking and tearing, providing images of the highest standard. Video can be indexed by time schedules or events accessed instantly through the DMR16 search menus. Front panel control allows the user to browse through recorded images using freeze frame, fast-forward, fast-reverse, slow-forward and slow-reverse.
